All Saints Eve🎃 Tuesday Table Talk
One Table Two Ways🔮Spooky ☠️or Sweet💛?
Something Wicked This Way Comes
Haunted house style was the inspiration for this table of terror. I started with fabulous black glitter beeswax candles, white pumpkins, and a bag of spider web material. I love the simple white of Kells. Versatility made this pattern the perfect choice for a dramatic black and white table scape. I layered antique silver pieces and candelabra for a haunted mansion feel. After all, witches prefer sipping from silver goblets:) It is fun to carry a theme into the details, and I loved the way this antique apothecary seemed to beckon, “pick your poison.” I filled repousée tussie mussies with dead rose buds to complete the place settings. Creepy crawly creatures, and critters were placed throughout the table scape for just the fright effect-I couldn’t resist:)
I Saved You the Good Candy:)
It was a treat to find pink pumpkins in the patch this year, and seeing pink got me inspired to dress this table up, in the wildly colorful Russian Dreams. The ornate details of this pattern remind me of an arabian princess costume. The sparkle of Waterford crystal accessorized each setting. The golden glow of painted glass chargers paired well, and added warmth to the table.
Because I had so many layers of color and shine going, I chose to do this table without flowers.White linen napkins, and little white pumpkins completed the settings. This table brings the happy to Happy Halloween!
